Flip
da Scrip are a dutch group, founded in 1990, by the rapper Stern Brunisma,
aka Cooly D. He and the rapper Glaze released their first album "Products
Of Da Piemel" in 1993. Their first big hits came with the two singles,
(Who' s In Don House and Throw Ya Hands In The Air). Thye got so big
in their home country, that they did a pre-show on the R.Kelly tour
in the Nederlands that year.
The following years they put out HipHop&R&B
hits like "You to me" and "You can run". They also did the annual
Dumb festival in Cologne together with topacts as The Backstreet Boys,
N-Sync and Dj Quicksilver.
In 1997, Glaze left the group for a solo career. Later that year,
the group got new members; the rapper Bear and the singers Winston
and Crucial. Their first single "I Never Told You" is probably
their most famous single. It became a huge hit all over Europe. The
following 3 years, to 2001 the group released more mature songs
like "Have you ever" and "After All".
Unfortunatly in 2001, Cooly
D got problems with holding the goup together, because of Crucial
became a parent, Winston wanted to quit music and most of all, Bear
got two years behind the bars. Because of that, their third album "That's The Way"
never got finished and got canceled. After that, Cooly D let the T-Music fans hear many of the songs on the album, and they are absolutely fantastic. One favorite of ours is "Fool Who You Fool". Make sure you check that one out!
After that, there has been no
sign of Flip Da Scrip, but Cooly D began working on a new project
in 2002.
Cooly D, Glaze and the siger Winston are available to reach on the
T-Music
Message Board, so if ya have any questions, what ya waitin for?
