Jay Supreme was born in Patterson (New Jersey) on 20th of August 1965. There, as he was a teenager, he created his own rap band. He came to Germany for his military duty in 1989. He left the army in 1991 to proceed his music career.

Culture Beat, where he was on the raps and Tania Evans on the song.
I mean, who doesn't know of the song "Mr.Vain"?. Jay was
already a rapper on Culture Beat song from 1990, when they released
their single "I Like You", but the most famous years were
1993-1997, when they spotted out worlwide hits like "Mr.Vain",
"Anything", "Inside Out", "World In Your
Hand" & "Crying In The Rain".
To us, the eurorap fans, he got most known in the years 1999-2001.
When Jay and Tania
left Culture Beat for solo careers in 1997, Jay started to work with Rappers Against Racism, where he featured
on their two hits "Sorry" and "Hiroshima (Fly Little
Bird)" in the years 1999-2000. You can read more about R.A.R.
here on T-Music. In the summer of 2000, he also released his only
solo single so far, "Your Love (Encore)" together with Cheryll
Lynn. The song got a lot of airplay on the european hiphop/r&b
radio stations. Right now he is living in the Netherlands.
